Today, Brad’s Grill is an institution in the suburbs. Brad’s Grill has become synonymous with good food, great hospitality and warm and caring service led by Natasha Kolbe, As host and maître d, Natasha is usually on hand to personally look after all her loyal patrons.
All steaks comprise top-quality, perfectly matured meat – grilled with a little marinade, the flames hot enough to caramelise an edge on the fat. And while Brad’s Grill has become well known for its steaks, it also has a great offering of linefish, prawns, chicken and mouthwatering desserts, and an unpretentious, eclectic wine list of locally selected wines that complement the menu.
Meals are served with an optional side order of onion rings that are the size of giant napkin rings, crispy crunchy fries and always delicious butternut and spinach. This is real comfort food, set in a convivial space, and its outgoing popularity makes it a neighbourhood gem.
An early bird special, in by 6pm and out by 8pm, sees you receive plates of deep-fried calamari, chicken schnitzel or sirloin with chips or rice and vegetables, all priced for great value at R95. Also in the offering: grilled vegetable salad; linefish; 400g spareribs, and lamb shank.
